📌 Admission Process General Info

Through NEET UG

  • Register for NEET UG and appear for the exam
  • Apply separately on the AIIMS official portal after NEET results
  • AIIMS counselling is conducted by MCC (Medical Counselling Committee) under All India Quota
  • Selection based on NEET All India Rank

🧭 AIIMS MBBS Pattern (via NEET UG) Exam Pattern

AIIMS no longer conducts a separate MBBS exam. From 2020 onward, AIIMS MBBS admissions are through NEET UG only.

  • Mode: Offline OMR (NEET UG)
  • Questions: 200 MCQs (180 to be answered)
  • Marking: +4 correct, -1 wrong

🎯 Eligibility, Rank Targets, Fees, and INI-CET Note Eligibility

Eligibility

AIIMS MBBS eligibility is same as NEET UG eligibility. No separate AIIMS-specific MBBS criteria.

Rank Target Guidance

  • AIIMS Delhi / top older AIIMS: usually requires very high percentile and top few hundred AIR.
  • Newer AIIMS campuses may close at lower ranks than legacy campuses.

Fees

AIIMS MBBS remains among the most affordable options in India. Fee heads can change, so verify latest campus prospectus.

PG Admissions

AIIMS PG seats are through INI-CET, not NEET PG.
