Key Facts
- Conducted by one of the 7 zonal IITs on rotation
- Only the top 2,50,000 JEE Main qualifiers can appear
- Maximum 2 attempts in consecutive years
- Total IIT seats: ~17,000 across 23 IITs
- Two papers on the same day (Paper 1 and Paper 2)
- Mandatory to appear in both papers
