CUET UG (Common University Entrance Test) is the national entrance exam for admission to UG programs in Central Universities, State Universities, Deemed Universities and other participating institutions across India.

- Conducted by NTA
- Mandatory for all Central Universities since 2022
- ~250+ universities accept CUET scores
- Over 14 lakh candidates registered in 2024
- For BA, BSc, BCom, BCA, and other UG programs (not engineering/medical)
- Class XII board marks NOT used for admission — only CUET score matters
